I WANT us to take Eifert at #12 but I don't think we will, and other than Ertz Escobar and Kelce there isn't any TE's I like more than Clay.. Fasano is already coming back so kinda hard to determine what do their, I struggled with this pick but I think they want to give Egnew a chance. Jermichael Finley only had 6 catches as a rookie. I wanna see if Egnew can become a role player for us, everyone is ready to label him a bust but most TE's do not have position coaches in college, and he is transitioning from a Y slot receiver in a spread offense to an Inline Y. Not ready to give up on him yet, although I want Eifert at #12 just don't see it happening unfortunately.

You may well be right on Egnew. I sorta forgot about him. People forget how fast he actually tested in the forty, saw an Ireland interview where he said Egnew is a 4.6 guy in the forty?? Lately he's been labelled as if he's a bust by the media, perhaps unfairly/prematurely. I really like Eifert only in the draft, but 12 is too high for him, maybe they trade back. I hate trading back but this year I can kind of see the case for it even though I wouldnt like it as I agree with Mike Mayock, players form 5th pick to 25th almost exactly the same value in this draft. Would be nice to have a Patriots-type situation with two dangerous TE's who can both do everything and scare people. Of the last 4 teams of the season, all four had at least one very good TE so I hope something emerges for Tannehill besides simply Fasano, whose good/serviceable, but not dangerous.

I like it but I think we need to draft one or even two CB's. Brent Grimes is not enough.

Your plan would work well though if McCann or Nolan Carroll steps up. Nolan looked good early on and then he started to get a lot of penalties. I think there still me be a future with him. Carroll, Grimes, Marshall in the slot, and a drafted CB would be great.

Our TE's don't scare me either - I don't know if I would count on Egnew stepping up - I hope he was embarrassed this year and comes out as the 2013 Most Improved Player though.

WR wise - I like your Wallace, Jennings, Swope, Matthews, Bess, and Binns depth chart. The first 4 guys listed here are beasts - with specific skill sets that will allow them to get into the endzone.

I just think it's important we don't give up on a TE with all the measurables after one season... just wanted to show stats off of a few rookie tight ends...... Jermichael Finley 6 catches 1 TD, Jared Cook 9 catches 0 TDS, Brent Celek 16 catches 1 TD, TONY GONZALEZ 33 catches 2 TDs, Jason Witten 35 catches 1 td....... point is not every TE is GRONK or GRAHAM, most take time to develop so don't give up on a 3rd round pick after a "redshirt" year........

Eifert is a WAY better prospect than Egnew, but their measureables are almost identical.
