You mean like when we had a Top 10 receiver in 2010 and 2011 and Hartline caught 1 touchdown each season? What's the excuse for that now?

Now that's a reasonable contract for Hartline.

But the Mfer just tweeted a article talking about $6 million a year. I'd be a lot happier with the Jordy contract.

You realize we had a COMPLETELY different coaching staff and offensive philosophy back then don't you?
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

    Hartline and Dolphins near deal....

If we can make it happen, this would definitely be a good resign. This kid has been nothing but productive for us last season, 6-6.5mil sounds about right. He's a solid receiver at a position of need. & our potential franchise QB has built somewhat of a chemistry with him (so why diminish that?)

Brandon Marshall was force fed the ball and Hartline was mainly a 3rd down WR under the old regime. It's quite possible with this offense Marshall wouldn't have seen as many balls thrown his way and would have made a stink about it. The WCO is perfect for Hartline. Your argument is weak considering how Hartline was used under the old regime. In the WCO and with Tannehill's chemistry with Hartline, it's again quite possible a true #1 WR would make Hartline much more dangerous.

Even the supporters of hartline have been saying all along that they would love him back if his contract was 5 mil or less.... now a report comes out that its 6-6.5 and its fantastic?

You've yet to make one single argument, I've already presented stats, salary on players who are more productive than him (Nelson caught 7 TD's in 2012, Hartline has 6 career TD's, Nelson is a Top 25 receiver, Hartline isn't even close), and etc and your big argument is "the different coaching staff, the chemistry! we have to pay him 3 million more than Nelson because that chemistry!!". The one who is mindless is you.
