    Some people have different tolerances to concussions. Just look at that hit Pollard put on Ridley. The force Pollard when it with a lot of guys would have concussed themselves

    Thanks for finding that link. Saved me some time. Concussions and the helmet were a huge topic early in his career. Then it seemingly went away, never to return. I'm not sure I remember a similar example. Maybe Anthony Munoz's knee issues.

    He used to smash his forearms into concrete block to make them thicker - better for doling out those shivers. If he got thru the line the DBs wanted no part of him. He also was the class clown of the team and constantly was the ring leader in playing practical jokes on SHula. Like putting a gator in Shulas shower. Lol
