    Jake Long on NFL Live

Jake Long told NFL Live he is about 13 weeks out of surgery & is still rehabbing the tricep injury that put him on IR. Long told NFL Live the most important thing he cares about where he winds up next is, winning. He wants to win. Jake Long finished his interview with NFL Liveby saying his wife is his support system & where he lands next he'll make the most out of it. Not once did Long give any indication he wants to stay in Miami, sounds like he is ready to part ways and play for his next team.

Merril Hodge on NFL Live listed Jake Long as a "Major Risk" in Free Agency. Hodge said Long has major injury concerns & his play has declined

Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.

Smell ya later. Tough guy and loved his attitude, but I am not paying him for his past.

Bye...he doesn't fit zbs and he's to much money, draft a guy in the mid rounds like most competent teams do or pick up one thru fa that fits zbs and is more cap friendly end of story, great player early on that is too big of risk for team looking to build talent around first real QB prospect we have seen in many many years

Good luck somewhere else. Your not worth the money you are asking for Jake.

Despite past injuries I would still push to resign jake. There's not many guys in the league that are as productive as jake when he's healthy. LT is a tough position to fill and just like QB, teams are always looking for that corner stone.

Really sounded like a desperate call for a job in all honesty. His price is plummeting and he knows it.
