How much better can Reshad Jones be?

Enough with the threads about players not on our team, I want to see opinions about our stud in the making SS.

IMO he will have 6 INTS next season along with 100+ tackles. Dude just balled out last year, and I fully expect the same from him next season.

I'm unsure how good he can be myself. I expect him to improve next year, but will it be by a landslide...probably not. He needs to work on his angles the most I think. There were several plays that he didn't take the right angle...but then again Chris Clemons was TERRIBLE at that. I say 4 Interceptions 94 tackles.

What does Reshad need to work on to take his game to the next level?

Wrap up, Trust his instincts not just when we are up in the game.

There is absolutely no reason for him NOT to go up from here. It's possible that teams will start to plan around him, so it's possible that you see a decline in a few numbers, but I certainly don't think his effort or play should decrease from last season.

He was around the ball seemingly every play last year. Really love the play and potential of this kid

I would be shocked if he did not continue to improve this year. I see three reasons for this:

    1. This will be his second year in Coyle's system. Familiarity should only help.
    2. This will be his second year as a starter. Last year he was just getting used to the game. I can see him playing with more confidence this year.
    3. We are improving our pass rush, and hopefully are not done doing so. This should only prove to help our guys in the secondary.

Fingers crossed. We need him to take the next step towards greatness. We need at least one playmaker in our secondary.
