    Vollmer's contract

    Wow, talk about a bargain!!!

Patriots RT Sebastian Vollmer's four-year contract has a base value of just $17 million, with $8.25 million guaranteed.

only 8 million guaranteed . I like paying guys that have actually produced and not paying them like probowlers based on speculation, that seldom works

Winston could be easily had for $4 million per year. I don't know what the Dolphins are waiting for.

This deal might make Winston a little cheaper.

Update on Vollmer contract per Ian Rapoport

On OT Sebastian Vollmer's deal with #Patriots: It's a 4-year deal that can be worth up to $27M. He gets $8.25M in the first year

    Re: Vollmer's contract

I would say Philbin and co did not want him as it's clear this wasn't about the money.
