Bloomberg:Government has right to "infringe on your freedom"

Just curious here, we have discussed Bloomberg before, but god does he piss me off.

Oh yeah, the question, is this guy one of a kind, or just the tip of the iceberg?

I mean, does this guy poll well nationally? Do some really like his actions?

IMO social conservatives aren't much different than progressives/liberals. Both want the government to control how we live our lives. One side uses religion/morality to justify it while the other uses the "greater good". Both will trample over the Bill of Rights and liberties without a pause.

I disagree. The Bill of Rights and liberties were created upon Christian values in part. It took 200 years for everyone to be included, but it happened.

The "greater good" of these Marxists/Socialists/Communists(however one would want to label them) is only for those in power, employed by or politically connected to the government.

This country is already sliding down the cliff in every way. The government is corrupt and the country is headed for bankruptcy.

Please Bush and company were wiping their butts with the constitution and bankrupting the country long before Obama took it to ludicrous speed.

I have to ask, what in your mind has Obama done that was so far off what Bush had already done?

    Bailouts? First one on Bush.

Budget? Check out Bush's last one, as an independent it is literally hilarious to see the partisans act as if the other party is the only problem.

Bush fell out of favor with many conservatives due to government spending during his administration. I wonder what would Obama have to do to fall out of favor with many liberals.
