so you want to change the traditions of many to benefit the few instead of coming up with a compromise.
But not all marriages are religious so the point is irrelevant. "Most" doesn't cut it

Marriage extends beyond religious ceremony. Their are legal benefits to it. Governments use the word marriage to explain a certain status. Take it up with them, but, in my opinion, the traditional reason behind that is because of religions historical interferance with government and the blending of the two. So it goes back to religions.

And again, discrimination is overturned despite "tradition". Just because you do things a long time doesnt make it right. This is basic stuff man, i dont see you bitching up a fit because you cant have the "traditional" meaning of "house servant".

The religious implications are not being challenged even remotely. Christianity and the like can continue to discriminate without problem and "being married in a church" has largely been dropped from the legal challenges. "The gay" will still burn in hell even if they are married. So you can rest easy.
"Ignorance is not an excuse" were the words Goodell used when describing why those involved in the Saints bounty scandal would not avoid punishment.

Because the bible doesnt recognize it. Thats a list of definitions for marriage according to the bible. I thought youd get that from the "Exodus 21:4" and "Genesis 16", but apparently you missed it.

It recognizes marriage. People are trying to destroy the destinction for "gay marriage" and "marriage".

Just admit youve dug yourself into a hole and cant dig out.

Do you really need a history lesson as to what rights the government denied certain people that they now have. And it's gonna happen again. As much as you don't like it, eventually "the gays" will be getting married and its gonna be sooner rather than later. You should make some friends with "the gays". You know the parties are gonna be fabulous.

Thats the flimsiest argument Ive ever heard. Black people were getting sprayed with fire hoses because they wanted to use the same bathrooms as white people 40-50 years ago. Half the population today was alive when that was going on.
