All i said was, and you have yet to refute or argue that i'm wrong about this, is that beyond regulating and prosecuting illegal behavior, government has no business interfering in private transactions (i.e. home purchases) between financial institutions and Joe Citizen. The bank and the citizen should be assuming the risks of the transactions, NOT the federal government. This is just another example of government encroaching into peoples everyday lives beyond the limits placed on government by the Constitution.
BTW, you never did acknowledge how successful the government has been when it nosed into the free market relationship between consumer and supplier. Amtrak, USPS and as was pointed out Cash for Clunkers and now the ACA......when has the government ever got involved and NOT manipulated a market instead fo regulate it?
