    He's a quitter.

When you walk away on the brink of a season, and leave everone hanging out there...

I'm surprised anyone would talk to him at all

You either have an extremely low opinion of what posters here bring in, or you have an absurdly high opinion of what Ricky Williams has left after living off of an NFL rookie contract that was significantly less lucrative than most (due to his stupid agent) and then having his team sue him to get some of it back after he quit on them.

I'd bet there are a lot of posters on this board with fatter nest eggs and significantly higher income than that guy right now.
I'm here to tell the truth about top secret Air Force project BAR STOOL. Gamma ray radiation from the particle accelerator under Joe Robbie Stadium is real! Get out while you can! This bad football team is just a front for something far more sinister!

Dolphins never got a penny from Ricky Williams, btw.

And even if you do believe Ricky came back for money, which he's said numerous times is not the case, he did play 6 more years in the league after his first retirement (2005, & 2007-2011). I also believe he's in the process of getting his medical degree, as well.

After football, Williams wants to return to Texas to finish his degree in education. He has a long way to go and needs about 70 credit hours. After graduating, he wants to go to medical school to be an osteopathic physician so he can offer patients a holistic approach to healing.

You have to laugh at how long he was at Texas and didn't even score enough credits to get a AA degree! As far as medical school well good luck Ricky! I know lots of people with very impressive transcripts that couldn't find a seat and even if you do find one I am pretty sure the well documented past of drug use with cause a few hang ups getting licensed.

Dude he played football and he's in medical school, he has to be loaded!

You'd be amazed at who posts on message boards, btw. I know, for instance, that the CEO of a multibillion dollar American corporation (one of the ones who flies on commercial airliners as a matter of corporate policy) is friggin' addicted to Flyertalk.
