If miami trade away two of their top picks to move up ...

...AS was suggested by the folks on PATH TO THE DRAFT would be devastating and counter-productive considering every move they've made thus far this off season. They even suggested they could try and trade away the two 3s, I was shocked at that proposition, by the way. How can a rebuilding team give away picks like candy. The last time I checked this ain't the Raiders organization. Finally, I just don't think there is any player in the top ten that is worth trading two top picks for, especially when there are other options. Just my two cents!

The suggested that we could trade only the #77 pick and move up.

I would rather stay still and get as many players as possible. For couple starters and some depth..

Devastating is not the right word. We would be getting an elite player...

If we could somehow trade up using only a 4th or lower i would be ok with it. I don't really want to trade away anything in 2nd or 3rd b/c there will still be starting caliber talent there. I would love to trade down if possible, but that will be near impossible. 12 is actually a terrible spot to be in this year.

Dee Milliner is the only person I'd move up for and even then, I wouldn't give away both thirds. Just not worth it

    "Devastating"? I tad hyperbolic.

I think it would be a great move to come out of this draft with one of the top players...ie. Joeckel, Fisher or Johnson. I think Oakland would move back if the Fins yielded #12, 2a and 3a. That is what advocating for at this time.

If you stay at 12, you are looking at Tavon Austin...who I am convinced they will not draft, Tyler Eifert...I think a solid TE can be had in later rounds, an elite guard in Warmack or Cooper, Sheldon Richardson (a clean bill of health for Star pushes him in the top ten), Bjorn Werner a try-hard, but not elite pass rusher, a corner like Trufant or Rhodes or FS such as Kenny Vaccaro.

Those are some good players and could help, but not as much as a young LT that is cheap for a few years and can allow the passing game to get after it this fall.

If you do not land one of the top OT's, then a trade for Branden Albert must occur IMO. Don't let a sloppy offensive line kill the season.

It's a never ending saga of this idiot GM always overspending to cover up his mistakes.
