    Draftwinds?

What happened to Draft Winds? There has only been one posted @ SunSentinel so far and one here.

    Anyone know?

Too bad. Should have done a Cliff Notes version, just to keep it going. I know it was very popular. There were some suggestions of shortening it anyway.

Sometimes it's difficult to resurrect something like that after a year's absence, although I sense Hyde wouldn't care.

Regardless, well done, even if it's gone.

Well, I for one will miss it.

Chris, how about a new venture?

An in-depth review of all Fins picks, after the fact? The fanbase would appreciate reading your thoughts on strengths/weaknesess/potential/grade/opinion.
I always end up scrambling to find info after the dust settles. Would appreciate your opinion and grades on who we choose.

    Up to the challenge?

It's a good idea. I'll ask Dave what his interest level is in it.

    Thanks Chris.

Not to belabour the point, but the idea is an exciting one.

Not long after every draft we get small bio's of each pick, from Sun Sentinel, Herald and elsewhere.
What is missing is one comprehensive list with opinionated analysis on each one.

I am not much interested in seeing vanilla regurgitation of college stats and "runner-up" for "whatever award" entries.

What many of the true fans would look for is (of course, this is just my opinion):

    1. Player Bio
    2. Strengths
    3. Weaknesses
    4. NFL transition projection
    4. Probable Front Office reasoning behind pick (scheme fit, etc.)
    5. Grade & Opinion on selection
    6. Most likely effect of pick on team

If you could get this done, with a strong flavour of opinion, it could just cut right through the noise.
And, I will promise you a case of cold beer if your plane ever lands in my neck of the woods.

Haha. I'll see you're case Trinidad and throw in a couple bottles of Spanish wine.
