This may be unpopular, but I could see it being Cameron Wake if true. Not trying to stereotype, but something about the way he carries himself has always made me wonder.
I am all for NFL players coming out. This country only moves forward when popular individuals are brave enough to withstand the noise that follows.
Was coming into this thread to say Daniel Thomas, but Billy already one upped me with Egnew. Well played.
This is all we need...I don't mind gay players in the NFL, not at all. The issue is that we dealt with the Marino thing, but no one really cares or remembers about it because:
1. He is a legend.
2. We've had a positive offseason up to this point in time. One which distracted us away from the situation.
The last thing we need is ANY sort of scandal, much less a sex tape. Would be a shame to go into the start of training camp on that note.
People who say "Being gay is no big deal in an NFL locker-room" are the probably the same people that believe "locker room cancer" is a myth.
No such thing as a player having personal dynamics that destroys team cohesion. Nah. Not at all. lol
If a player on the Phins goes public with being gay, with a history of dating an underage teen... well, let's just say it will majorly hurt the team unity. Leave it at that.
a butt pirate in the lockerroom...
hoops scoops 2012 season ..."in 2014 ryan tannehill etches his name in stone amongst the games elite qbs"..."ryan tannehill and andrew luck will carry the afc for the next decade plus the way peyton manning and tom brady have this last decade plus"
The only thing worrying is the underage part. If it wasnt for the guy being underage I would hope it would be someone like Wake or Soliai, someone the players respect and wouldnt want off the team. It would suck for one of the back ups because they arent as important to the team.
