When are people going to realize that Ireland is going big or going home this year. His job's on the line, no way he's trading back to accumulate more 2s.

You would think this team would learn.
As much as I am on the fence with this potential trade, Albert is not AJ Feeley.

I realize the games haven't been played. But don't you agree that while he is going home, he is doing it in a very calculated way that is netting us a lot of talent. He's spending money, but we are getting proven guys who fill our needs. We've not been spending for the sake of spending. There does seem to be a magnificent plan in place.

It would be a win win for both teams - the Chiefs can possibly upgrade the tackle position in the draft and save some money and we can fix a glaring hole the year we have $ to spend. I'm not thrilled with the idea of paying him top dollar but maybe for once we can feel comfortable about Tannehill being protected assuming Albert stays healthy

when you say "this team," who are you referring to?

the mascot? the owner? the general manager? the players? the training facility? the stadium?

because there is not one single solitary person in a position of power that is still a member of the miami dolphins that was here when that trade was made. or maybe you are referring to the entire frachise as a whole having some sort of "ancestral memory" of such things passed on from generation to generation of general manager and owner?

That's a silly comment. You can't see what Ireland did last year has set us up to be in the position we are in this year. As long as we have a decent draft, Ireland is back here again next season. He is and has been doing his job. If we lose, our coaching staff needs to answer some questions.
