This isn't happening before the draft, no way. It might happen DURING the draft but Ireland isn't stupid enough to do this before draft day. And I really can't see this deal for anything over 7.5 per year. If he is asking north of 8 tell him to stay in KC.

Hell no! This is Fins Haven!

If they make the trade before the 1st round then they're stupid, period.....

i have no idea what the love of Albert is, hes a good LT but not an elite LT. Plus, he gets injured. Just draft an RT or get Winston.

THis tells me Miami doesnt like Martin, OR they are scaring Martin into playing better.

If they waited to make the trade during or after the draft.....could that possibly drive Alberts price go up as far as leverage? Meaning....if there are no LT's available when we pick....Alberts camp drives the price up. Buy now or pay later mentality.

The question you have to ask yourself is, is Albert a better LT than a left tackle you are going to pick up in the 2nd round of this years draft? Ireland is really in a pretty good spot. He can trade up for one of the 3 LT's in this years draft or if it costs too much to trade up, he can trade for Albert. Either way he will get a solid pro.

How does Albert fit with the Dolphins and what Philbin wants in an offensive lineman? I thought he wanted athletic linemen that can move well. Albert doesn't seem to have those qualities.

I hate to say it but, Albert is a pretty athletic linemen and would fit into a zone blocking scheme pretty well. Plus at pick #54 da Phinz simply would not find a day one starting LT (maybe RT) I don't really like the proposed trade (as I'm really NOT an Albert fan), but he would clearly be better than ANY tackle da Phinz could draft at pick #54 and obviously a day one starter. Plus da Phinz clearly think that Albert as a better LT than Martin or they wouldn't be thinking about doing this proposed trade :-(
