Branden Albert wants Jake Long Money

In his office Friday afternoon, Philbin pointed to the practice fields outside and said: "Out there is where we're going to find out about Ryan Tannehill, Matt Moore and David Garrard. I don't remember a master plan that said, 'Here's when Ryan's going to play.' If there is one, I was never told about it. We'll let them come to work, and the best man will win."'

    Say no to $10M LT's and $16M CB's.

"IF" True.....Then "NO THANKS"!!! Take our draft picks ammunition, and move up afew to grab one of the Rook Tackles. I'd still like Eifert, but hard to argue with taking a potential 8-10 year LT.

Yep. And watch our gm panic and give it to him.

And IMO, take a tackle round 2. Proper use of assets and money. Kyle Long and Armstead are both good zone block scheme options.

Ireland is pretty damn frugal when he wants to be - he's not giving him that kind of money. Nowhere near it.
    Philbin is an idiot.

Why would he panic and pay him all that when he wouldn't give Long that much...... then again why would he panic period?

Jason Cole is just repeating what Ian Rapoport speculated last week. Rapoport wondered if Albert was looking for a contract similar to what the Texans Duane Brown signed last year. I doubt Albert will get anything close to the seven year, $56+ million with over $22 million guaranteed that Brown received.

Our GM might panic but I doubt Dawn Aponte will.
