FWIW: Rosenhaus expects the Dolphins to...

Trade 54th selection for Brandon Albert

Draft either Chance Warmack or Tyler Eifert at 12

He also mentioned Zach Ertz and Jordan Reed as middle round possibilities.

Personally I think he is talking out of his behind.

Don't see either Eifert or Warmack.

I'm not convinced Ireland values the tight end position enough to take one at #12. Warmack isn't a great scheme fit, if we were going to take a guard (definitely possible, I think) then I'd expect it would be Jon Cooper.

Only position that makes sense to me at 12 based on depth of the draft is DE.

Warmack doesn't fit what we're looking for in an o-lineman. He's a Sparano type o-lineman. Cooper is what we'd be looking for at guard.
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

Which one of these kids has Rosenhaus as an agent? Not that he isnt aware, but he is the biggest shill I've ever seen. He'd promote a terrorist if he ran a 4.3.

I could absolutely see Ireland drafting Warmack. Yes, Cooper would probably be the better sacrifice for the all powerful deity named "Scheme", but Ireland has already shown he will try and keep lineman he believes are talented enough to justify the loose fit. Long wasnt as good a sacrifice as other players, but Ireland tried to resign him all the same.

The thought of having a extremely talented guard between Pouncey and Albert/Martin has to thrill our general manager. Theres very little doubt in my mind that the only reason we didnt draft David DeCastro last offseason was because our quarterback situation dissolved in front of his eyes. And even then i think Ireland might have tried to get cute and draft a second day project(with the logic that Moore was good enough to win with while the player develops) had Ross not laid down the law and publically declared they were going to acquire a franchise quarterback.

Unfortunately, i cant see Eifert. We just drafted Clay and Egnew, as well as tossing Keller a contract. Think Ireland plans to take someone who can block later in the draft, but think he sees our offensive weapons as "set".
"I'm not here to be a distraction," Pouncey said.

LOL, well that kinda is his job. I can't imagine paying him the kind of money some of these guys are paying, and he fails to mention my name every chance he got.

I know a lot of people are high on Eifert, but I honestly think we have a solid amount of offensive weapons now and would do better strengthening our secondary. Trading up for Dee Milliner or snagging DJ Hayden would be great. I don't love Xavier Rhodes though. Getting Zach Ertz in the middle rounds would be amazing. I'd have a hard time being happy with picking Chance Warmack just because of how many OLs we've picked high and paid in the past.
