What's the possibility he's not even there though? Some mock drafts have him being picked before we get the chance to.

Yikes, I don't have to ask who wrote that. The forced humor gives it away.

I think the biggest threat to take him before #12 is the Jets. If they really want him they won't wait until #13, especially if they think we are at all interested.

Have a feeling the Jets come away with Austin and Eifert. Well, we shouldn't be too disappointed if that happens. We'll have our first round GUARD.

I just hope people understand who Eifert is and who he isn't. I mean this isn't Graham, or Davis. This is a 4.7 TE, a great redzone threat, and plays with great body control, but this isn't the speedy seam threat that some seem to think he is. A 4.68 40 is not the kind of player that is going to run away from NFL LBs. He is the perfect compliment to Keller who IS that seam threat, but doesn't have the body control or size that Tyler has. Tyler is a young Jeremy Shockey in my opinion. Maybe slightly better hands and body control.

I find it funny that a lot of the same ones that want to cut or trade Bess because he is suposely too slow, are some of the same ones that want Eifert.
Don't misunderstand, I too would like the Eifert pick, but I know what he is and what he isn't. I think it would be great to get Eifert in the 1st and Swopes in the 3rd. If we could add to that Armstead in the 2nd, Poyer/Alford with 3a, and a pass rusher with 2b, I would consider it the best draft ever.
