we never had a dominant D, mark buttfumble was a huge part of our success. he sucked last year but we had very little healthy talent on O but espn doesn't tell you that so I get why you are confused.[/QUOTE]
Seriously, we're referencing ESPN now? If anything "BSPN" is biased toward the Jets. You're going to sit here and tell me the Jets never had a dominant defense and in the same sentence pretend that I dont have a clue what I'm talking about? I love you to death Juncster, I really do. You never cease to amaze me with your biased opinion and lack of self awareness but sometimes you have to know when to take your ball and go home. This is one instance where you would be better off keeping your opinion to yourself before you look even more clueless than you already do. Swallow your pride and go hide out for a while buddy.
That's like me saying Fiedler led the Dolphins to the playoffs and was held back because the Dolphins defense came up small in big spots. Which is true, the defense did come up small in big spots but the only damn reason they were in that big spot was BECAUSE of the defense. Truth be told, Fiedler was a better QB than buttfumble. At least Fiedler knew his limitations and halfass took care of the ball. buttfumble? The guy couldnt turn the ball over anymore if he tried. Its almost unfathomable how easy the guy fumbles and then you throw in his INT's and its just mind boggling to me how a fan of his team could support him, let alone a New York fan. I'm a Mets fan (unfortunately), have been since the mid 80's so I know how most New York fans are. They dont typically support losers, you my friend are a major exception to that rule.
we had a top 5 D and run game in 2009, in 2010 both were up and down. We had a very similar run game to Miami- how come you guys weren't even in the playoff race?
