Probably because he's not very good

Who are all these wide receivers the Dolphins signed? They signed Mike Wallace and now have one very good receiver on the team and one slightly above average one in Hartline. So people think that is good enough to compete with the best teams in the league? I guess after all the years of watching terrible offenses Fin Fan's expectations are very low.

I give up. We sign one good WR and apparently all of our WR problems are solved. I watched our games of last year lastnigh and letme tell you, our offense was near devastating. It was not a 1 WR fix. Miami needed a Bailey or Austin still. We got Gibson instead. Rams got Cook Austin Bailey Miami got Wallace Keller and Gibson. Lol.

But, but Davone Bess was such a good WR! Why did they trade him?

You know why? The Rams actually drafted playmakers at this position. They picked Austin and Bailey! Add those two to who they already have ..... which are Quick, Givens, and TE's Kendricks and forgot the name but the guy from the Titans we tried to sign. That's the greatest show on turf part 2. I wouldn't miss a receiver that left in FA either.

Re: 3 TD'S by a WR last year total

I believe the thinking is that Keller and Wallace are going to take pressure off of Hartline and open up the field for someone or other. I know the formula has worked before, but it would have been nice to see a bit more explosion considering our running backs are so unproven...

People who are worried about our WRs may have missed what Big Ben said. He kinda knows a thing or two more about receivers than us, ya think?

We are lucky. We have a far better team than last year. Dont be silly, folks.

How would you like to be a Jet or Bills fan right now?

    Agreed.

Hartline is a solid player and underrated, but we needed another STUD at WR. The great teams have a group of 4 WRs who can really get it done. I like Matthews potential, but I want to really hammer down this position. Bailey wouldve gotten us all excited.

I think Hartline can hurt teams if they sleep on him, but we needed more playmakers at WR. Gibson is a decent little underrated guy, but he is no stud.

And agreed with what one person was saying about St. Louis. Thats going to be a helluva division with them, San Fran, and Seattle. Im glad we dont play that division for another 3 years. Got that out of the way last year.

The only fan base that still has receiver as a top need after signing Wallace and Gibson lol....

I told you guys we weren't going receiver early... If Bess was not traded we would have NEVER taken one in this draft. That would've been a wasted pick.
