If you were watching at the time of these deals, we traded up for (I believe) Bailey, and the Rams traded up to take him the pick before. This happens many a time. IF we would have gotten Bailey, most would have been very happy.

I wold have rather had Poyer, to be honest
    .

I think Poyner is still available. I saw at least two mock drafts that had him at the top of the second round. Whoever gets him is getting great value.

Same folks are always homers about our crappy acorn style draft picking...

    Why?

All of you negative guys kill me. Most of you are the guys that want "name players." You're the guys who wanted Eddie Moore in 2003 because you knew his name, and that he was from Tennessee. In the later rounds you would have been disappointed with the Yeremiah Bell pick, because you were hoping to draft Drew Stanton. Let the scouts do their jobs. We'll find out if they can play soon enough.

LOL San Francisco is spilling over with talent and playmakers. Already were stacked going into the SB...then they get Glenn Dorsey, Anquan Boldin, Nnamdi Asomugha in FA, now they add Reid, Carradine, Patton and Lattimore.

I think we've had a pretty good draft outside of the trade up for Davis... Not only did we use a 3rd rounder on him but we used the wasted draft picks on a trade up for him. If he pans out then we all look dumb, but if he folds like Egnew then Ireland looks like an idiot. I love his aggressiveness with the Dion Jordan pick, and to turn around and get jamar Taylor in the 2nd.. Jelani Jenkins was a solid pick, I think in the 4-3 he could be a starting weak side backer in a year or two. Good be a core important special teams guy. Dion sims has the size to be a red zone target and maybe develop into a solid starter. In time we'll see.

besides the 1st and 2nd round, our draft is garbage. defend it if you will, but you dont see SF making picks out of left field. they are killing it. Carradine, Lemonier, Patton, Lattimore. All players people on here had wanted to target. Oh, but fans know nothing. Dolphins are smarter than any other team, each of our picks is a gem. Ireland is a genius. Harbaugh and Baalke dont know ****.

I love how you just gloss over the biggest FA signing.

With all the good players drafted, I'm willing to give Ireland a pass on Davis. IMHO that is the ONLY questionable pick I see.
