    I'll predict Carpenter will go to another team and perform better than Sturgis does here.

    Carpenter has traits that aren't appreciated enough, like effortless distance, initial height, and fantastic mechanics. He's entering the prime years for a kicker.

    At least Sturgis is a golfer. I'll give him credit for that. Lots of the best quarterbacks and kickers have been skilled golfers.

    Carp has good traits but what I don't appreciate is that he has been wildly inconsistent to the point that he became a liability. If he does well someplace else, great, good for him. Olindo Mare did OK after leaving the Dolphins and it was still the right move to send his ass packing.
