I heard he can play RT, he has played on the left side and right side. Very versatile!

I also liked what I saw out of matthews last year as did a lot of people. Is everyone convinced our options available in the 4/5th rounds are CLEARLY better than Matthews?
The only WR that might have been better than Matthews was Patton. Not taking a WR became inevitable when we didn't take him early in the 4th. And we've opened up about $4 million in cap room the last 3 days to help us sign one of the FA tackles to solidify the O-line.

would like to see what Yeatman does....they have been grooming him for OL...

also, wouldn't be suprised to see us sign Winston or maybe an UDFA OL ...

We will very rarely be 4-5 wide. We might not be 3 wide that often.

We not only brought in new players but we just added a lot of money back to our cap. This draft could be the end of Patterson, Thomas, Carpenter, Marshall etc. millions saved and younger players added, I love it.

It tells me Jeff Ireland misjudged the talent we have on this roster. Yet again, Ireland vastly overrates the receivers we have and, yet again, passes on an opportunity to improve this roster in a deep receiving class.

This receiving core didnt have enough weapons when we had Brandon Marshall, Brian Hartline, and Davone Bess. We dont have enough weapons with Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, and Brandon Gibson. Not even close. Even if we kept Bess(a roleplayer) we needed a weapon.

This will reappear during the season. We wont be scoring the amount people expect(at least not from our receivers).

Swope was given a 2nd round grade on this board and he went in the 6th round.... That should tell you what fans know

I knew if we went into the draft with Bess we wouldn't take a receiver. We ended up trading him and STILL didn't take one lol. I got a lot of flack for saying that, but I was right

Maybe we take one in the 7th, but I doubt it.

Spesh, you apparently didn't get the memo. The consensus is that we are loaded with playmakers and WR is just a luxury. We'll somehow find a way to score 30 points a game simply by scaring the other teams into submission with the excellence of our Special Teams unit.
