After today, I'm feeling pretty confident in our roster. I also feel its an extremely wise decision to have that 5th preseason game. We are a faster team and more aggressive on both sides of the ball. Drafting corners known to gets picks, putting pressure on the Qb, and stretching the field is the type of team we are hoping for and I think we did well in getting personnel to match that

Thank you OP! As Nublar and Vaark articulated, you can't set your self up for failure and expect our front office to draft players based on the stamp of approval from Mel Kiper. Oh your not pleased with this draft because we didn't draft Swope? We passed up on Keenan Allen? Give me a break... The front office has done a hell of a job this off-season to put us in a position to succeed. Since Philbin was hired we have been moving in the right direction. No reason to stop trusting them now. We filled our needs as J. Ireland said we would... We can't go wide receiver, tight end, and running back every round.
    COME ON' RYAN!!!

Good post. I'm nervous about left tackle. But in previous seasons ive been nervous about like 10 positions. Hopefully they can make something work at LT.

I'm excited about what we've done this offseason. I can say I would have done this or done that, but if we can bring in a veteran like Winston to fill in on the line we'll be just fine! Good job, they got aggressive and put everything on the table, we'll see if it pays off. Hell, it's not my money so I could care less

    We needed...

Young, fast, and every hole addressed. I haven't been this excited for a new season since ESPN had us on the cover of their magazine to win a Super Bowl with Ricky.

LT is still an issue, but maybe Martin is our solution.

Either way, it's gonna be fun. Contrast this to the offseason which turned out to be Sporanos last. Henne and new OC Brian Daboll. Oh the excitement there. Never in my life had I been at such a low point of interest in my Fins. Better days ahead, hell, better days already here!

Marino.... Huard, Feidler, Lucas, Griese, Rosenfels, Feeley, Frerrote, Green, Culpepper, Harrington, Lemon, Beck, Thigpen, Pennington, Henne, Moore... Tannehill.

    'Bout damn time!

I get what you saying, and I love those picks. I guess what I meant is that it wasn't sexy in the way of a draft where you draft mostly skill guys like QB, WR and RB(though Miami did get a running back today). I would say that the Bills had a more "sexy" draft because they drafted a QB in the first, a WR in the 2nd and a WR in the 3rd. Doesn't mean I think they had a better draft, just that it might have had more name recognition to the average fan.

Filled a lot of needs and even saved some money in the process if things work out.

The snafu at the end of the thrid was questionable but otherwise great job

I'm hoping for a receiver in the 7th just because everyone wants one.

OT is still an issue along with WR. Still could use an upgrade or at least someone to push Clemons. Also might need a DT next year if they can't sign either Solai or Starks. Overall I think the draft has been ok. Would have rather upgraded the #3 WR position then drafting a Kicker but I guess that's just me.

During the Super Bowl everyone was talking about how fast and young the 49ers team was. Miami is building the same kind of team, with all our picks you keep hearing key terms (speed, good foot work, smart, upside, athletic) that's what has me hopeful
