Owner Jordan Zimmerman: Potential Future Miami Dolphins Owner?

I am not a big fan of Ross, but I am already beginning to worry about the potential successor to Mr. Ross.

    ### Amid the disappointment of the stadium setback, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross tells us he has received no inquiries to sell the team and has “no interest in selling.” If he changes his mind, a group led by Panthers minority owner Jordan Zimmerman, who owns one of the nation’s largest ad agencies, remains very interested, according to an associate.

This guy looks like he loves the sound of his own voice. Seems like he is of the same ilk of Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder. He seems like he might be a guy who becomes overly involved in football matters, trying to stroke his ego.

That being said, I have known people who have worked for his ad agency, and it seemed to be a good, fun work environment.

But I really think it would be bad for the team to have an owner who views himself as a celebrity of sorts... I guess the silver-lining would be that he would never move the team since he is a South Florida native.

Well as much as people hate Jerry Jones he still has three world championships as owner. I could put up with him as our owner if it meant three superbowl championhips

But that was really only when he had Jimmy Johnson there (a man with a bigger ego than him) to help steer the personnel decisions. Jerry's ego got the best of him and led to the dismantling the championship teams, and the Cowboys haven't been the same since. Heck, Jerry even gave Tony Romo (The Rich Man's Mark Sanchez) a ridiculous extension which is bound to blow up in his face...

If my memory is correct, this Jordan Zimmerman guy expresses interest in buying the Dolphins every year since Ross has been the owner. So this really isn't anything. The question is, does Zimmerman and his group even have the money to buy the team let alone run it every year with player contracts?

Not sure what that has to do with my post. Myself as a dolphin fan Im tired of living in one of the greatest events ever in football 4 decades ago.
Just was speaking on current GM and owner of the cowboys who at some point will be tired of living in championships 20 years in past.
That seems to be our only rebuttal to any arguement.
Damn the pats have won 3 superbowls and appeared in two others . Yea but 40 years ago we went undefeated.
We ought to thank the stars in heaven that Tyree made a miracle catch or we wouldnt have that.

Not to mention this was actually pertinent to the post talking about owners.
