It was reported that our plan for the 12th pick was Tavon Austin, or Eifert if he was gone. If true, that means we still had big plans for upgrading our receiver group.

How many TDs did Marshall score for us? Did he ever outrun a defender for a TD? How many TDs did he drop? (hint, more then he caught). But now I understand this. Hartline (even after his seasons here) sucks and we traded away the great Brandon Marshall. i get it now, the conversation is over.
You're really going to argue that Brandon Marshall didn't make our passing better?

But I also think last year was transitional. Something people have a hard time understanding. It was a long term plan hatched to the boss last year, got our new HC, and proceeded with a long term plan. FA should have shown you this, but you and others would rather look at negatives all day every day so thats why we are still here discussing this.
Just because you don't recall it doesn't mean it didn't happen. No one is making this up. You can go back into the threads from last year it's all there. Also, let me see if I understand this. A key position on the team continues to not be addressed properly year after year, but we're not supposed to be negative about it?

I'll be happy to come on here and admit I was wrong if the young guys step up and make names of themselves, but how many years do you have to see these young guys come and go to realize that you need to pump the position with more talent until you have a respectable group? I don't care who in that organization believes the guys they have are good enough. Bring in adequate competition and make them prove it!

I may be in minority with this opinion, but I actually believe that Gibson is a better threat than Hartline.

Exactly. Our offense still needs some upgrades, which is something I expect out of next years draft. In the meantime, the offense is definitely better than last year, hopefully Tanny can take the next step otherwise none of this matters anyway.

If any teams #1 receiver goes down every team will have trouble!

Why do people bring that up? If we lose this guy? Take away hartlines 256 yard game and on and on! Why it's really dumb!

Anyways, we already brought in Bess' replacement who is bigger, faster, cheaper and can play the boundary as well. It's Gibson, the writing has been on the wall ever since we signed him. Plus the team is very high on receivers Mathews, Binns and Thigpen. The sky hasn't fell, we have upgraded WR, TE, DE, LB, CB with talent and speed. Can't fix everything in 1 offseason.

Yes, and it made the "team" worse.
