A forum is made for people to post their opinions on the team, and people posting insight on how they feel about a certain player or draft is never a bad thing, even if I don't agree with everything they say.
What if you were to post this when Ronnie Brown had just gotten drafted? Or Ted Ginn? You'd look pretty stupid right now, especially since you're just bashing people who have a different opinion than you and aren't backing up why you think Jordan will be a great pick at 3.
IMO, I thought Jordan was a great pick, and only trading a 2nd to get him was an absolute steal. Others feel different, I have no problem with that. The only threads that really have no point is threads that are like "Everyone needs to shut up." It really doesn't bring any insight and doesn't make anybody think about the pick at all.
anyone complaining about the Dion Jordan pick doesnt know much about him.... everyone on here has been cpomplaining about how ireland always takes the "safe" pick, but this year we were aggressive (and made a great value trade) and made a "bold" move to get a guy whose potential is through the ceiling and we still get guys complaining
Even when there is a absolutely clear distinction in talent and potential going from 8 to 9, pretty much. If Miami doesn't take Jordan at #3, he's gone by #7 without a doubt. But you wouldn't take the guy in the top 10. No, you'd choose someone else at #10 and let a guy like Jordan slip passed you and choose a player who in most other drafts would go in the second round. OK.
Everybody needs to shut up about the draft???
Good luck with that one, bro.
(you've been here long enough to know that that simply won't happen)
1) Win the next game.
2) See goal #1
