"Politics is the Art of Looking for Trouble, Finding it Everywhere, Diagnosing it Incorrectly, and Applying the Wrong Remedies"
And I agree on the clips. I highly doubt they cause lives to be saved or lost one way or the next. The point I guess was that if you find yourself needing a big clip, youre situation is FUBAR anyway. I just found the notion of 9954, or anyone else here, running out and fighting off an army with their glock with a big clip laughable.
Legislation like this is really just a proxy war over the interpretation of certain terms and principles, imo. Either one side is going to win the argument that the world is a dangerous place and therefore we need guns, or the other side is going to convince people that the world is a dangerous place because of guns. The former has the upper hand right now in this country, imo. I tend to agree with the latter.
One interesting note in the stats you posted is how often the violent break ins were by people the home occupant knew. 65% of the time. Not surprising, but certainly a different scenario than the one of the paranoid crowd likes to paint.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I will be more than happy to carry on this conversation.
