    Gillislee Next in Long Line of Great #23s?

    Hope he actually gets to wear the number but think about it;

    Troy Vincent, Pat Surtain, Ronnie Brown...

    We've had pretty good luck with that number, here's hoping the Gatorback can carry on the tradition

    I know you did not create the thread for this, but rest assured it will be taken over by Ronnie Brown bashing. I'd love for Gilleslee to have #23.

    Ronnie gave us some great momments. I can't hate him for being an injury prone guy.

    Ronnie was usually a good player for us, not worthy of his pick status but I still like the guy. How bout that smile too?!

    Man I am so stoked about Gillislee being on this team and that D.Thomas in due time is no longer going to be the primary back-up!

    LMFAO. Ronnie Brown had a few great plays, as would be expected from someone who's a starter that long. But lets put aside that this thread will get filled with Ronnie Brown haters and simply state the truth................Ronnie Brown was FAR from great. Farther away from great than he is much closer to disappointment.

    The most important run in Ronnie Brown's career was his 40 run at the combine. That miraculous sub 4.4 run is what made him #2 pick money. He never showed that speed again in a game. He never outran anyone who was chasing him. Dude would have had a 99 yarder his first season and was caught by the 50 yard line.

    Ronnie Brown was kinda average though.

    Never did anything that wowed me, just average.

    Brown was average but when you factor in him being the #2 pick in the draft he was a disappointment.

    The other two were very good and both played corner. Maybe someone should talk Jamar Taylor into wearing it. Hopefully keep that trend going
