If your guy does not catch the ball, you don't have to tackle him. Taylor and Jones are the hard hitters.

He's a terrible tackling corner but he can cover pretty well.

He's so bad at tackling he doesn't even try half the time...

But damn, when he decides to turn the jets he can really get downfield in a hurry.

By far the worst pick by Ireland.

What they saw is perhaps the top pure coverage corner in the draft. He had the most fluid movement and was quickest through the drills. Watch his tape and see how he's all over his man. He has a nose for the ball as well. He is not good in run support, but a decent open field tackler when put in position. They must think they can coach up the run support. Even if they can't he's terrific in coverage.

The issue I have is that it looks like he has the attitude that he's a cover guy and that he doesn't have to tackle, ala deon sanders! Problem is... He's not deon sanders good in coverage! I mean his coverage skills are ok, but in this video.... He was beat several times and the QB just missed the WR. He doesn't get off the block by the WR and it looks like he does it on purpose so that he doesn't have to tackle. You can't teach aggression! And I don't think you can line up in the NFL and be this unwilling to tackle. Defensive coaches will be on his ass like Sherman was all over Egnew! Coaches don't like softness!

Terrific in coverage?? Not sure what video you're looking at but he was beat at least 3 times and the QB missed! Not to mention the couple of times the WR did catch the ball. I need to see another game to see of this was an isolated thing

    This^^

I find it funny that everybody is fixated on the one game he had against Patton, being it's the only tape on youtube, but still it was 1 game... Yes, he has a problem with wrapping up, but the guy is up there with the top guys in this draft as far as covering receivers. He has some major upside. Tackling is not his forte, but I bet he can already cover better than Wilson AND Caroll even before stepping on an NFL field. Give the guy some time to show what he has before destroying the pick....
