Sign Eric Winston, move Martin to the Left side. Martin started his last 26 games in college there and the last 3 for us last year. If he spent the 4 months getting stronger he should improve.

We need a 1 year deal guy, period. Whoever, just get a 1 year gap player till one of our youngins can step in.

Let a young guy like McDonald or Yeatman get a little time there during the season, during a blowout , to get some real game reps and if they fail, move on and draft a guy in 2014. If they look good then let them fight for starting spot in 2014. Line isn't as big of a problem as people think.

50 million dollar tackles won't be playing for the Dolphins anytime soon with Philbin here and I for one am glad.
    2014 Mock Draft

    1. Zack Martin - OT/OG - Notre Dame
    2. Chris Borland - ILB - Wisconsin
    3. C.J. Fiedeorowicz - TE - Iowa
    4. Trai Turner - OG - LSU
    5. Brandon Thomas - OT/OG - Clemson
    6. Storm Johnson - RB - South Florida
    7. Calvin Barnett - DT - Oklahoma State

I think a trade still happens with Albert at some point.

One name not mentioned is Eugene Monroe with Jacksonville. He is in the final year of his rookie contract and was selected 8th overall in 2009 draft.
Since they just drafted Luke Joekel to take his spot, he could come free from the Jaguars.
Pretty much the same situation as KC and Albert/Fisher. Except Monroe's salary ($3.8M this year, FA next )and future demands are much lower than Alberts.
He has started 4 years for the jags and only missed 3 games. If we were going to trade a pick for a LT I would rather get Monroe than Fat Albert.

Also like the option of getting Eric Winston which wouldn't cost us a draft pick.

Jonathan Martin will be left tackle this yr. We will sign Eric Winston in next 72 hrs and he will play right tackle. We then have good versatility on remainder of line (guards) with Pouncey at center. Our line will be fine.

Sign Winston, see if Martin can play LT, if not they move Winston over.

It is pointless to bring in a LT on a 1 year contract. I figure the solution should be long term like Martin or trade for Albert. KC can't keep him so he will be cheap trade wise. I think Martin gets LT and we bring in Winston or another RT.
