I agree 100% with Sherman here and am excited to see what happens. We threw a rookie qb with little college experience to the wolves last year and he performed admirably. With almost no weapons he did pretty darn good. Now, with experience under his belt, an offseason to reflect and study, weapon to throw to, and a D that just might give him support there is no reason he should take a huge step up. Will he turn into Payton Manning overnight - nope. Should he be top 15- yea, I think so.
Every time I see a stupid post I remind myself we don't have this guy as a fan
Hopefully you guys are right about the practice style, and additional preseason game. It may also help were getting a lot of players from the same schools. Florida, Oregon, etc. also ellerbe played with reshad at Georgia
When I first saw the thread title I thoguht to myself, who the heck is T. Hill??? Did we sign a WR or something??? Nicknames
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious
If Sherman is correct and Tannehill is "much improved" I truly believe we will make the playoffs.
I'd be happy with going from a good rookie to a great 2nd year player.Elite is a term that a player receives when he brings his team to the playoff's 3 out of 4 years. Here's to Tannehill taking strides to the elite QB category.
This eerily reminds me of the comments Henning made about Henne favorably comparing him to Ryan and Flacco.
I'm really hoping Rishard Matthews takes a step up in a big way this year, we need that young man to become in very productive player in as he is the only player right on offense that has the potential to win the 50/50 battles in the end zone.

Hopefully Tanny learns to look off defenders this year...
