Southbeach, I appreciate your efforts in obtaining the cap info and sharing it with us fans. I have to say I am very impressed with how Ireland and Aponte have managed the cap over the last few years. I realize there are 15 players who are F/A's but like every other team in the NFL, not all will be resigned. I'm hopeful that the key players return and the team can put together another strong F/A period in 2014 and follow that up with another good Draft.

Not really, we will be a trim budget in 2014 but beyond that we are good. Not to mention all the agents that we have signed can be cut after 2 years with minimal dead money, even Wallace. Dawn has out done herself to be honest, she's a maneater.

We "may" have as much next year, not a bad thing. Then, it is onwards and upwards.

There could be a mistake. I see Patterson on the list, when he is actually a F/A after 2013 and don't see Richard Marshall on that list.

Marshall and Patterson are on the list. Patterson signed a three year deal and was cut in the middle of the first year so he has this year and next year left.
Marshall's cap hit is 6.5 millionPatterson will make 5.4 million that year

Here's a good read but, not current. I'm looking at $25-30M to start, $10M in carry over, and a $5M cap increase. Player contracts being r-negotiated would add more.

Need to extend Reshad Jones now. That's all that is left from a surprisingly masterful offseason.

That website has all kinds of errors.

Also, when you factor in the amount of money that gets rolled over from this year, and the amount the salary cap will increase, I think 35 to 40 mill under for 2014 looks about right.

    wallace 17 million
    ellerbee 7.45
    wake 7.285
    marshal 6.5
    wheeler 6.4
    hartline 6.2
    moore 5.5
    patterson 5.4
    gibson 3.75

so already at about 66 million
    fields 3.5
    tanneyhill 3.5
    pouncey 3

    so 76 million
    vaughn martin 2.2
    odrick 2
    nate garner 1.7

    82 million
    3.5 million in dead money

so like 85 million right there

just going by 4th pick Matt Kalil Jordan will get no less than 21 million over 4 years
Jordan will have a cap hit of about 4.5
so 89.5 and thats with only 16 players being counted

johnathon martin, danial thomas and trunsick all make over a million
jamar talors will be about 1.4 million
vernon and egnew about 750k a piece

    95 million and 22 players
u also have to account for a minimum amount of 51 players.
