Heart and passion are two qualities that have been somewhat lacking from anyone but the fans for a few years... Hope he makes the team and does himself proud!!!

I would be very surprised if he doesn't at least end up landing on the practice squad. I think the coaches will just want to keep him around helping them out with their scout team because they know what they're going to get from him on every rep.
Do you think that he may be better than 7th round pick Don Jones?

Hope he makes the squad. I have a bad habit of rooting hard for guys like this and it always seems to end with them being camp fodder. Be nice if this guy survived final cuts.

As a die hard michigan fan, I am absolutely pulling for this kid. If anything I would like to see him carve out a solid special teams career.

Don Jones is a lot more explosive which is why they felt they needed to draft him in order to secure him. But Jordan Kovacs actually knows what he's doing out there and from what I saw Don Jones doesn't, or at least not as often.

Pretty cool story, the guy seems to have a lot of intangibles and maybe will make the team.

    Just win Phin baby!

Great story, but he's going to have to be lights out to make this team. It would be nice to see him rock some guys on special teams like linebacker Bua did back in the day, only not just a one "hit" wonder like Bua.
