Of course possibly the next Mark Foley, David Riviera or John Edwards slimy-side politician pandering to an electorate in the Tampa area also in competition for future Superbowls, and presiding over a last minute relaxation of campaign contribution laws to benefit their select few club, is gonna offer up self-serving explanations. And this is the House Speaker who presides over "bidness" of the state that an independent study labeled "the most corrupt state in the union." To give any of those jackals the benefit of the doubt over the Ross and the Fins with their considerable financial exposure, IMO says more about "Wily Will's" enablers, rationalizers and excusers than it does about The Fins. Just connect the dots.

Florida: ''We're No. 1!'' for political corruption
And this should suprise who. Those same corrupt people were quite siding with Ross . Hell in the year 2000 we showed what a mess the political mess that Florida is and years later nobody cared.
We had a damn national election with all kinds of weird issues going on but now people think its a bigger issue now lol. I dont think our state is alone and you have to blame the voters that continue to put up with their government. I mean look at South Carolina electing friggin MArk Sanford to a congressional seat. Miami had to recall the last mayor over all kinds of crap. Seriosuly though would you think our system was somehow better if they had voted on this bill, still the same issues. Why should I trust Ross more than the same polictians he empowers with tons of lobby money and backs in elections. He is just as much a part of the problem as any of them. I for one seperate my love of fins from love of a billionaire owner that makes these types u describe more powerful everyday.

But by denying it the right to be voted on we will not know. Weatherford is just another sleezy politician that is saying "trust me, I know whats best for you."
This happens with many bills though its not like this was the only bill. Same thing happened with MArlins bill.

No I just think its hypocritical. This bill was not just about giving dade county the right to vote on bed taxes. There were tax rebates , transportation bills and so on.
Im just trying to figure out why early voting was going on about an issue that had not been resolved. Why the people that decide there is no vote are more corrupt than the ones that were ready to vote yes based on lobby money. I think there are a bunch of untrustworthy people calling each other untrustworthy. I personally am getting so tired of sports to a degree. Dont get me wrong and you know this from how much i post nI love football and sports but the fun is truly going out of being a fan. Cities and states are struggling nationwide as more and more public money is given to a leagues that in reality dont give one damn about the fan as they exagerrate economic impact and such. Not even sure why Im even debating this. if this had went to vote and then public voted it down, we know the nfl would not be like well the people voted it down so thats fair. Im not sure politicians could be any more corrupt than the NFL. its like OJ calling Rae Carruth a murderer

It's well known on Adams street that Weatherford has eyes on the governorship in 2014. Allowing this vote and Rick Scott would crucify him as corporate welfare.

This isn't about the Dolphins needing a new stadium. This is about Will Weatherford political career.

Agree, it happens to many bills, but that does not make it right. Let them vote on it.
