Guys like that are always useful in the slot and on special teams.

Don Shula ALWAYS had a Crash Jensen-type player on the roster. Versatility isn't everything. There have to be some type of defined roles at the WR spots. This is one aspect of Philbin's philosophy I DON'T agree with.
Ryan Tannehill. Ah, what a relief. Life is good.

according to some on this board, that was already going to happen right after we cut him last season. and he was going to destroy us in both games.

He's too slow, and not fast enough, to make any difference. He has great hands, but I consider him very raw.

if he couldnt make our roster last year considering how weak it was, what makes you think he would be able to make it this offseason

Da'Rick Rogers is legit. If he didn't get kicked off the Vols squad he would have been a 1st or 2d round draft pick.

He ran a 4.47. Too slow eh? Put up 225 28 times. Over 6'1 220. 36.5" vertical. He played only 1 yr of college ball. Super duper raw yea, but saying he doesn't have the measurables is either uninformed or ignorant. Reason I liked him is because, at least according to teammates, he had that semi-intangible ability to get the DB off balance and get separation, hence the played out nickname. I wouldn't call his career over.
