    Lighten up Francis.
2008 was a success due to Chad Pennington and a weak schedule, but flying under the radar was part of the success too. Do you remember in week 4 we beat the Chargers and their coaches were asking "Who the hell are these guys?" Being unexpectedly good IS an advantage. Telling everyone how good you are is not. While I love the Dolphins, if I was a player on another team, I'd want to shut these guys up, and I would probably make fun of Hartline during the game for saying they have a championship offense and he scored 1 TD last year.
"Coach Sparano assured us at the beginning of the week, they win the turnover battle, they win the game," guard Richie Incognito said. "And we went out there, turned the ball over."

The wildcat was also a huge reason Miami was successful.

Are you seriously suggesting that NFL coaches will only pick up how much improved we are if our players tell the media in interviews? :what:
Im selling a club level ticket to the Dolphins v Raiders in London - will sell it for below face value. PM me if your interested.

Are you seriously suggesting that off-season attention whoring doesn't play a role in whether a team can fly under the radar? Ask Tim Tebow if the media covering you matters or not.

Can't believe im responding to this thread but your looking for a reason to criticize the team. There's nothing wrong with being confident and having high expectations. Nothings being said in bad taste.

Hartline and Pouncey need to stop being so defiant!

Dude, this is the NFL... not high school football. There's no such thing as flying under the radar. Every team knows which players are on which teams and what offense they run, what weaknesses/strengths they have. You think that Pouncey saying what he said is going to make anyone in the NFL try harder when they're game planning?

They aren't saying anything crazy. They are just saying what they believe. I am happy they think and want to be great.

I was just about to point this out. Ironic name for the OP.

TBH I kinda agree, in that if I was HC I would want these guys to be boring in their answers. Media is awesome in taking these innocuous answers and hyping them (and the team), then when you stumble, quick to call you "overrated".

    Meh. Winning cures everything.
