But as of now, I don't even see a primadonna in Dee. I see a player that I'd rather not have on a division rival (totally made up for by another player I love having on a division rival in Geno Smith).
About Geno Smith - I'm fine with the Jests having him because I think he's just going to end up being Sanchez 2.0 - which is good for us.
My concern is more for EJ Manuel and what kind of impact he's going to have for the Bills in our division. Personally, I see the Bills as more of a challenge to the Fins over the coming years than the Jests or even (in my opinion) the soon to be fading Pats.
2 players now fire their agents b/c they were disappointed they weren't drafted higher? Yep, sounds like the Jets to me.
We are all dolphins fans and we dont agree on everything, I took no offense at all. Not sure why some want to paint us all in a box as having to feel the same way.
I appreciate your passion and that you could man up when you felt you had reacted badly. Not many of us can do that.
It's remarkable how much Dolphin fans will attempt to stretch and contort a players business preferences in order to be able to infer that it reflects poorly on a hated rival, and how it enables these melodramatic and reactionary fans the ability to label the Jets as a "circus", their oh-so-favorite, tired, inaccurate description.
The guy was probably disappointed that his agents did nothing to counteract the effects of all the "omg, five surgeries!" noise that clearly caused his minor slip on draft day. Pretty standard stuff. But yes, it was his ego. He's a head case. He's going to fail as a player. Oh God, the horror!
Get a grip guys, this isn't even note-worthy. From every account, he's an excellent, high-character kid who plays through pain and has never been in trouble. But keep trying. Logic will prevail, though, and I'm sure you're all disappointed to hear that.
