Practice squad candidate. As raw as he is, that's about all we can hope for.
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

Obviously one of the BIG questions is he smart enough to learn an NFL playbook.....and based off his college history....he may not be very bright :-( http://www.dandydon.com/Courtney_Gar...ight_Video.php
I agree we must have seen different videos, the 13 minute clip show him doing his shake and bake and getting tackled right where he started, vs basically HS players. Never did his multiple moves get him free for a score, again vs very bad defenses. As for his route running I KNOW we were watching different videos. He was rounding off his routes, giving away where he was going, and slowing down out of his breaks rather than trying to explode toward the ball. I would love to see what you saw.

An early sign that CK and others were right on Gibson.

Gibson and Hartline as the number 2 and 3 WRs is very unsettling, imo. I'd be looking for WRs round the clock... we need PLAYMAKERS not mediocre ceiling WRs who struggle to make difference plays on their own talents -- have to scheme to get open or do double or triple moves and come back to LOS. Not a good WR imo.

A difference-making WR makes the play against man coverage, all day.
Players like that were there for the taking in the draft and ireland wouldn't touch them. Just like always. We settled for mediocrity for our 2 and 3 guys. I called Gibson a mistake when we did it and I am saying now he is a letitgo nono-sized BUST.

This is an attempt to get a Tavon Austin from the bargain bin for peanuts.

This guy is just another body to hit in camp. Better he takes the pounding than one of the guys we're actually going to keep on the roster.

If it means anything, and I'm sure very little, but Kiper loved this guy, and McShay spoke highly of him on their podcast.

I'd rather they have taken a shot on Charles Johnson if they wanted to go small school and athletic, but since Johnson was drafted, this guy seems like as good a lottery ticket as any.

Page 4 without a smart ass "acorn" comment? Maybe people really ARE optimistic...

    Dolphins sign WR Courtney Gardner

The thing that stands out to me in that video is how aggressive he is when asked to block!!!! This could be interesting indeed

Dunno if these are the same highlights as above.

Also, a good article on his history and academic struggles...
