I saw that. If true, great fit. Chad Pennington as the QB coach or Assistant QB Coach. He has been a successful QB in Miami. He's a bright guy who would really help Tannehill, Moore and Devlin.

    I hope it's true.

Please keep check down Chad away from Tannehill! We don't need someone in the building telling our young QB to always play it safe. Where the **** is Marino when you need him?
When I die I want to hire the Miami Dolphin's to be my pallbearers so they can let me down one last time.

IDK. I Loved marino, but if you go back and look at his game logs, you rarely see a game without an interception, and many games he had multiple interceptions, which is in stark contrast to pennington, and even our own Tannehill from last season. in a perfect world you'd want someone who is a blend of pennington and marino.

That would be the Patriots starting QB...

I get what your saying. Pennington was great at reading what the defense was going to do and therefore took what they gave him, which was normally an underneath route because he didn't have the arm strength to thread the needle when it was warranted. I just don't want that mentality being imposed on an impressionable younger player. I want the QB to dictate the game by looking at the defenses weakness and then attack it, not take what they are giving him.

I guess I see Penninton as a little angel sitting on Tanny's shoulder always telling him to play it safe and to try not to do anything to lose the game (why Sparano loved him) and a gunslinger, like Marino, as the little Devil sitting on Tanny's shoulder telling him, look at that hole in the defense over the top, it's single coverage, you can make that throw, go for it. Having both attributes would be ideal but to me I want one who listens to the devil more than the angel.

Lol. Idk, marino has given advice to past dolphins QBs, and the most he ever really said was... "just wing it." that's it. marino's done coaching for the day.
