Either give him an official role or show him the door, ASAP!

We don't need potential informants lurking around the facility.

That said, Chad Pennington is a class act if there ever was one.

Pennington will be with the team all week. The hope is that Pennington, who is statistically the NFL's most accurate quarterbacks of all-time, can help Ryan Tannehill speed up his maturation process.

pennington did take risk just his arm wasn't strong enough for them. check down chad was chad henne. maybe henne learned that from pennington. im sure hennes gun was just as strong as tanne's. only difference is mindset. checking down on 1st and 2nd down isn't a bad read. henne checked down on 3rd and cost us plenty of possessions. 3rd down for the QB you have to be the one to get your team the first not rely on WR to get the first down. that's the difference between penny and henne. penny was not rob Johnson who would take a sack instead of throwing a risky pass to help his stats. zero probs with the check downs as a safe pass as long as on third down you are trying to move the chains instead of making sure you complete pass.

Chad Pennington's probably one of the smartest QB's to come through Miami. He had an 11 year career despite his arm and his injury history. He led the Dolphins to an AFC East championship with a roster that racked up 1 win the previous year. Pennington played the way he did because that's what his arm allowed. But if there was some way to put his brain in Tannehill's body, then we'd be golden. I'd glady take him coaching up Tannehill instead.

He probably thought about it, but soon realized that there is a LOT more to coaching high school football than actually coaching. My wife is a teacher, and although she loves it, the bureaucracy, evaluations, etc. isn't for everybody.
