One of my favorite aspects of Tannehill' game that I noticed his first year as a Dolphin, is that he is a statue in the pocket, not worried about pressure, always keeping his eyes down the field. This, in my opinion, is one of the most important things in determining whether or not a QB is going to be successful in the NFL. A lot of players come out of college with "happy feet" and are always focused on the rush. Blaine Gabbert is the most recent example of this. I've also always thought that Sanchez was horrid when it came to this aspect of football, and it is no surprise to see his name on some of the bottom 5 categories when facing pressure.
It is no surprise to me when I see Tannehills name in the top of the league when facing pressure. This is maybe the biggest stat from year one that tells me Tanne is going to be a good QB in this league. Just imagine how much better it is going to be with his new receiving threats.
What do you guys think?
