I had a 360 for years before I sold it. I haven't had a system in a year or so and I want to jump back in. I don't know which system I want but price will certainly make that decision easier. I'd be fine with getting a 360 again even with the new systems coming out.

Don't do it!!! We only have one generation shift to look at but as soon as 360 came out Xbox classic was dead. (WTF do we call Xbox 1 now that there's an Xbox One?) If you want to wait it out and buy a 360 cheaper then that would be smart.

Hah good question. With all of its features, it seems like an entertainment machine. People want awesome graphics and amazing gameplay. Games that are actually worth $60 would be nice.

Who said the games would be $60? While I agree that the XB1 comes off as nothing more than an entrainment hub, who said there wouldn't be pretty games with great game play? Let's not forget that E3 is only a couple of weeks off.

Well it would be a safe bet to assume $60 or $70 based on the last 3 generations don't you think? PS1/N64 era: $40 games. PS2/GCN/XB era: $50 games. Current gen $60 games (except Wii which was $50.) Wii U is the first of next gen and games are $60. Don't allow yourself to think the prices are going down that has never happened unless you buy shovelware budget titles that are day 1 $30 or buy games on sale.

TBH I was fine with the arcade version xBox 360. It was/os $199 and needed all I cared about. If I needed more memory I just went out and bought a 4GB memory stick. I've always been fairly simply when it comes to game systems. I've never needed the bells and whistles a lot of other dudes care about.

nope I don't think they raise the price on the games themselves, in fact the retail outlets themselves would fight it, because a lot of the games on the PSN are available day one, or week one, download and done. no driving to gamestop or walmart.

Well my initial point was expect $60 or $70. I'm thinking $60 but you never know and my generation breakdown shows the $10 bump which is why I even threw $70 out there. Wii U today is charging $60. Anyone who thinks a PS4/XB1 game will be anything less than $60 is wishfully thinking. Besides what is MS doing to please or show they care about retail stores?
