The cynic knows the price of everything, but the value of nothing
I honestly feel, and felt, that it was all an issue of us getting the first visit. We made him a priority and met every demand he had. That's not a slight. It's just how free agency works most of the time. I'm sure there were other factors, but had he scheduled a visit to the Vikings first, I think he would've been a Viking.
Of course, I'm also of the belief that Greg Jennings didn't get much of a sniff from us because of his injuries and his sister running her mouth on twitter.
The whole talk last year from analysts was "Tannehill's got no one to throw to, What's Miami thinking?!!"
Now it's "Miami went and picked up the proven fastest WR in the game for a lot of money, which he was going to receive regardless, but hey, he's Possibly still Inconsistent.
Surely Tannehill can't excel in his 2nd year in the league throwing to a speedy WR that makes more good plays than he does bad. What's Miami thinking?!!"
