I hope Snowden gets away with it and more people have the guts to come out.
I have a feeling his car, plane, bike, etc. will somehow find it's way into an explosion somehow

Absolutely! Now, if Snowden sold secrets to another country then he deserves to stand trial. However, if all he did was speak the truth about spying on US citizens then he deserves a medal. They are trying to paint him as a traitor by linking him to unfriendly countries but he would be an idiot to go somewhere he could get extradited. Duh!

What I meant is that they work for the Fed and not the government as a whole. They'll get taken care of.

Ya gotta be careful when you say you work for the Fed in some parts of this country still to this day. I work in Kentucky a lot and there is no hiding the love loss for the Federal Government in those parts, in fact when I was working there several years ago some poor census worker got strung up and had the word FED scrawled into his chest, they found him days later hanging from a tree.

I don't think they ever found the person(s) responsible.

Well it appears in remembrance I answered my own question they believe it was stagged and a suicide but working in Kentucky at the time people were not shocked to hear that it happened.

The other problem would be that the government would continue to classify any document under "National Security". I would reckon that any lawsuit would have very little public exposure.

Just look at the 9/11 commission report. A simple report. 90% of it is deducted and blacked out.
Good luck finding a person with standing...
