Josh Smith has agreed to a four year, $56 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell Y! Sports.
I don't like this signing for the Pistons. I assume they'll have Smith play the 3, but I don't think that suits him at all.

I don't get it either. They have Drummond and Monroe who are two great young 4/5s, where does Smith fit? He is a terrible outside shot for a small forward. But then again its probably a win this year move, if Milwaukee can make the playoffs with Jennings, Ellis and garbage the Pistons should be able to with their roster.

To me, this has Dumars trying to save his job written all over it.

How did Dumars keep his job after the Gordon and Villaneuva fiascoes?

This makes no sense at all.

I don't know if I'd go as far as quitting on Detroit, but that group of bigs doesn't seem to fit well together.

Spurs signed Marco Bellinelli to a 2 year deal and re-signed Ginobili to finish his career in SA (2 years).

Bynum goes to Cleveland. It's a two year deal with a team option for the second year. Only $6 million of the $12 million is guaranteed in the first year though. The team option is $12.5 million in the second year. The rest of the contract is incentive laced.

One injury takes you from being a 100 million dollar man to 6 mil and a team option. There must be something to those reports that had the most ominous word....degenerative.
