    Absurd to say the least.
Palmer had 22 TDs against 14 ints with a higher passing rating for a ****ty team.
Not saying I'd take him over Tannehill but he put up decent numbers last year.
This year he'll have Larry Fitz to throw to.

oh well jaws...be ready to eat that ranking after this year...ha ha
I think it is mostly based on last year not what he expects this year.

What has Ryan done so far to deserve a higher rating ?

He's the best we've had in a while and I expect him to be fantastic this year and possibly top ten but he has not done it yet so ...

USC QB's are like Florida Gator Wide Receivers....good in college, but they blow in the NFL.

maybe...but you'd be damn surprised just how small my list of qbs i'd trade tannehill for is...and jaws should be able to see on tape just how high this kids ceiling is and how smart he plays the game...

miami feels a whole lot better about it's qb position going forward than probably more than half the league...

I think this is accurate. He is giving a ranking of last year and after this year I would bet he will be closer to 10 maybe in the top 10. He says some good and bad. "showed a lot of positive traits despite having very few weapons at his disposal," including the ability to "subtly move within the pocket to avoid pressure." Added Jaworski, "For a rookie, Tannehill was very good at throwing with bodies around him in what I call a muddied pocket. That's advanced NFL quarterbacking." Jaws conceded Tannehill must improve on third down, where he "had the worst rating of all starting quarterbacks, including seven of his 13 interceptions."

That list I am sure is based a lot on potential vs. age/potential in coming years of others but if we were ranking based on last year he'd be pretty low. As a Jet fan I hope he sucks, for you guys I hope he does well. You guys deserve a winner. I don't want to see it but I'd be happy for the good fans here.
