This Team wont be great unless

Tannehill becomes a great Qb. The Pats weren't s*** if you guys remember, terrible line, no play-makers, until Brady was inserted. Philbin is going to judge on how great a coach he is based on what Tanny does for the team. I hope he's right in putting his faith in the kid. I guess he has no choice.

We drafted him high to start. He's our QB. I really hope that we have a legit QB
To run the show. Im not ready to deal with a QB debacle.

I think everyone understands the success of this team is dependent on Tannehill's improvement.

philbin and tannehill are gonna be here a long time...philbins got the qb to hitch his wagon to...
hoops scoops 2012 season ..."in 2014 ryan tannehill etches his name in stone amongst the games elite qbs"..."ryan tannehill and andrew luck will carry the afc for the next decade plus the way peyton manning and tom brady have this last decade plus"

still, in the back of my mind I wonder what the season would have been last year had we kept marshall and davis and started matt moore. I think we'd have made the playoffs but would have hindered us from getting to where we are now. still curious, but alas ill never know

the thing is he doesn't have to be great, just consistent. joe flacco sure as hell isn't great but he goes far into the playoffs every year

Can't remember brady ever having a bad o-line. Lumberjacks. Give the team credit for finding great O-line talent for 10 years.

Didn't Brady make his first start in the afc championship game? I wouldnt say that is being inserted into a crappy team, but I see what youre saying. Without Brady they aint **** and I agree. I myself fully believe in tannehill. He has all the physical tools and the confidence, work ethic and intelligence to go with it. I would really be shocked if he ended up being a failed QB in this league. I would be disappointed if he was anything less than a top 15 QB every year.

No, Bledsoe got knocked out during their week 2 game. So when Brady took over as the full time starter in week 3, they were actually 0-2 (Brady obviously did play in week 2 he just didn't start the game).
