Try to trade up for Barry Sanders in the 1989 draft.

Dolphins beat the pats in 1985 and Marino goes to back to back superbowls vs da Bears.

Mine would be for the Dolphins to win Super Bowl XIX. Instantly that gives Dan his ring and to this day 1984 would still be considered the greatest year by a QB, even though some of his records were subsequently broken. It also gives Shula another ring, not to mention Clayton, Duper, Stephenson, etc. That whole era in Dolphins football would be viewed differently if you reverse the outcome of that game.

If not that, then having the Dolphins win the 1985 AFC championship against the Pats. Give Dan and Shula a chance at redemption for falling short the year before. At the very least, it would have made for a great match-up and a great couple of weeks of anticipation, regardless of the outcome. Much better than the shellacking that was anyway.

Kim bokamper doesn't drop the ball for a touchdown costing us a Super Bowl win against the skins.

Hard to argue with this one.

The first thing I thought of though when I read the OP was Brees over Culpepper.

This one is pretty easy for me:

Go after Brees instead of Culpepper.

With the #167 pick of the 2000 draft the Dolphin pick Tom Brady instead of Ernest Grant.

Ok, I have changed mine a little bit based on some of you bringing back memories...

    1. Bokamper catches the INT and we win Super Bowl XVII vs. the Skins. We were in total control at the time, and if we score then, no more Riggins, BALLGAME!!
    2. Win Super Bowl XIX against the 49ers.
    3. Not hire Tom Olivadotti and hire an actual GOOD DC during the height of Danny's years...this equals years of decent to good defense to aid Danny Boy!!!
    4. Draft good Defensive players, good RB's, MORE GOOD WR to go along with Duper/Clayton.
    5. Dont trade down and draft Moss. Opens up our whole offense, and completes our team at the time, we become automatic contenders for several more years!!!

There is only one wrong in Miami history that needs to be changed and that is a ring for Danny. I have read through all the responses and even if I tried to convince myself of some other outcome that should be changed only one thought comes back time and time again, Dan Marino should have at least 1 ring if not more and there isn't any other thing you will convince me of more so than that one glaring blemish in Miami history.
