OPINION Pete Prisco: Dolphins Camp observations

Here's Prisco's breakdown of what he's seen the past few days at camp. Interesting analysis on Tannehill to say the least , 8-8 team come on, were a playoff team!

Not liking his analysis of tannehill. Are these problems he had last year as well or is it just premature camp evaluation?

So basically, we will go as far as our QB takes us. The same as 31 other teams. Thanks for the read, good stuff about Miller. We will be good this year.

Everything in that article could have been written without actually attending a single practice session.

But there are a few things that concern me about him. One is his accuracy, but I think that will improve as he plays a second season.
I bet Prisco looked at Tannehill's completion percentage in his rookie season and then he wrote this. In my opinion, Tannehill's accuracy is a non-issue. His ball placement is off the charts, right up there with Dan and Pennington.

Reading that, there were a lot of thing that I agree with and a lot that I disagree with. Pretty unbiased oppinion. His observation of Tannehill are concerning but it's still very early and all his receivers are new to him except Hartline. Way to early to panic.

How can anyone base anything from one dat at a camp? that is my question. You cant. And its Pete Prisco who like everyone else, will ignore welker and hernandez, who get gameplanned in the offense with regularity, are gone.

Whatever Pete. It wont mean a thing once the games begin.

The schedule is no more brutal than it was last year. Ravens are not the same team, Patriots not the same, two games early are non-conference games.

I say if we beat Cleveland and Indy. Skies the limit. We lost to Indy by one drive. Defense will be better and deep causing more turnovers and offense will no doubt be better.

Really? We're listening to what Pete Prisco says now? When has he EVER been complimentary of the phins?

Fin-hating is part of his persona; it helps him get more clicks.

Reporters have to go against the grain to obtain followers. If Sapp and others said the camp is awful this dude would have said we look like we're ready to win it all PFFFT

I am not sure how anyone can say we are "at best an 8-8 team". We won 7 games last year and have added a tremendous amount of talent (including growth at QB). 8 wins is our basement. If we win only 8 games it likely means that not only has Tannehill made no progress, but also that we suffered a well above average number of injuries.
